How ordering a print works

Who you're dealing with

What we do (and don't)

We 3D print models you supply, as a link (MakerWorld, Printables, Thingiverse, MyMiniFactory and similar) or a file. We don't design models from scratch. We can turn down a job, for example if it can't be printed well or shouldn't be printed at all.

Quotes

• Quotes are free. Each one shows what we'll print, in which material, and the price.
• A quote is valid for 14 days unless it shows a different date. After that, ask and we'll send a fresh one.
• The minimum order is $20 (AUD, before delivery). Smaller jobs are topped up to $20, shown as its own line.
• Prices are in Australian dollars. G3DK Printing isn't registered for GST, so there's no GST to add.
• Accepting a quote on your order page means you agree to it and to these terms, and we can start printing.

Printing

• Most orders are finished within 1–3 business days. Big or fiddly jobs take longer, and we'll tell you up front.
• 3D prints show fine layer lines and small marks where supports were, and colours can differ slightly from photos online. That's normal and not a fault.
• If a print fails or something changes (a different material, say), we'll tell you and, if the price changes, send a new quote for you to accept. Nothing extra is charged without your OK.

Paying

• Once your print is finished, you get photos of it with the invoice, so you see it before you pay.
• The invoice includes delivery and is due within 7 days. Pay by card (through Square's secure page) or by PayID.
• We send or hand over your print once it's paid.

Delivery

• Post: Australia Post, anywhere in Australia, from $15, priced on the packed parcel's size and weight. You get the tracking number by email.
• Local drop-off: across Greater Sydney, priced on the quote or invoice.
• Pickup: from Greystanes, NSW, at no charge, at a time we arrange with you.
• We pack prints carefully. If a parcel arrives damaged or doesn't arrive, tell us as soon as you can (photos help) and we'll sort it out with you.

Changing your mind

You can decline a quote, or cancel before we start printing, at no cost. Once printing has started, tell us as soon as you can and we'll work out something fair.

If something's wrong with your print

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If your print has a problem that's down to how we made it, tell us and we'll reprint it or refund you. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Your models and licences

• You must have the right to have the model printed. Most published models allow printing for your own personal use; selling printed copies usually needs the designer's permission. You're responsible for that permission, though we'll flag a licence that looks like a problem.
• The files you send stay yours. We use them only to print your order, keep them confidential, and delete them 12 months after your order is finished. Our Privacy page has the details.
